The Comedy Outpost

The Comedy Outpost kicked off the millenium in 2001 in beautiful downtown Victorville CA, and has been flying high ever since! Started by John Kane, the Outpost is co-produced by Scott Everett Berger and Doug Mortenson. For almost 4 years on the first Saturday of the month The Comedy Outpost tickled the Ramada Inn Victorville with the funniest up-and-coming comedians in Southern California.

Taking comedy within and beyond the borders of Los Angeles county as well as the over-saturated Hollywood scene, The Comedy Outpost brings high quality comedy shows to neighboring communities and beyond. Scott Everett Berger and Doug Mortenson are also two of the regular comedians and MC's of the Outpost.

Stand-up comedy, professional master of ceremony, or other comedic entertainment are great for fundraisers and corporate events too!

Scott Everett Berger

After being told that he was funny his whole life, Scott Everett Berger decided to find out for himself and took to the stage. As co-producer of the Comedy Outpost, Scott handles the booking of the comedians for the shows as well as emcees and performs full sets of his original material. Scott is a bad Jew who's favorite things are enjoying life with his rockin' wife Beth, Halloween, and eating pie.

Doug Mortenson

Doug Mortenson is a meat and potatoes kinda guy. The Mount Rushmore of The Comedy Outpost (no, he doesn't have 4 heads), Doug is a solid foundation of organization and humor. Sharing his experiences growing up in the midwest as well as his opinion about current events, he performs full sets of his original material and emcees The Comedy Outpost shows.
